The development of corrugated cardboard in the world, broken down by years, is as follows:
1856- The British named Healey and Allen patented the first corrugated cardboard. The first example of cardboard was corrugated by a simple manually operated machine with two fluted cylinders, and this product was used as the lining of top hats.
1871- Albert L. Jones used the American corrugated cardboard for the first time as a packaging and packaging material and got its patent.
1874- In America, Oliver Long patented corrugated cardboard by putting a primer on one side and strengthening it.
1881- Some manufacturers, who were the pioneers of corrugated cardboard, obtained patents by making innovations and directed their efforts to develop new machines. Thompson and Norris Firm developed the first automatically operating single-sided corrugated cardboard machine.

1895- Various machine manufacturers entered the corrugated cardboard manufacturing business, and the first continuous production corrugated cardboard machine was Sefton Manufacturing Co. It was produced by Jefferson T. Ferres, who worked at his firm.
